Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
PinImage Studio ("PinImage", "we", "us") provides an AI-powered Pinterest pin generator and related API at pinimagestudio.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights over it.
2. Account & email data
When you create an account we collect your email address, password hash (we never see your plaintext password), and any profile details you choose to add. We use this to authenticate you, send transactional emails (sign-in, plan changes, payment receipts), and respond to support requests.
3. Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never see or store your full card details. We receive limited billing metadata (plan, status, country, last 4 digits of your card) via webhook so we can manage your subscription and issue invoices. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.
4. API keys & usage
If you generate an API key (Pro and Agency plans), we store a hashed version server-side and log each request's timestamp, template, and credit consumption for billing and abuse prevention. We do not log the full input/output content of API requests beyond what is necessary to render and serve your pin.
5. Generated images & storage durations
Pins you generate are stored in our object storage and served from our CDN. Retention depends on your plan:
- Free: 7 days
- Pro: 90 days
- Agency: 1 year
After the retention window expires, pins are permanently deleted from our systems. You can also delete a pin manually at any time from your dashboard.
6. Cookies
We use first-party cookies and local storage for authentication (keeping you signed in), CSRF protection, and remembering UI preferences (such as dismissing the launch announcement bar). We use Google Analytics with anonymized IP to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not sell your data to third parties or use cross-site advertising trackers.
7. GDPR & your rights
If you are in the EU/UK or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
You can delete your account at any time from your settings page, which removes your profile, pins, and API keys. To exercise any other right, email us at the address below.
8. Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion to allow account recovery and meet legal/tax obligations. Billing records may be retained longer where required by law.
